SkoolPing — Terms of Service

Last updated: 25 August 2026

By downloading, installing or using the SkoolPing app or website (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Who can use SkoolPing

SkoolPing is provided to end users through the schools that subscribe to it. You are eligible to use the Service if a school has enrolled you and issued login credentials, and you are an adult, or a minor whose school and parent have authorised your access.

2. Your account

3. Acceptable use

You agree NOT to:

4. Content ownership

You retain ownership of the content you post (messages, homework, photos, voice notes). By posting, you grant SkoolPing a limited licence to store and display that content to authorised users within your school so the Service can function.

5. School responsibility

Each school is the data controller for its users. The school decides who has access, what information is added, and when accounts are removed. Disputes about school-level decisions must be raised with the school directly.

6. Fees and payments

SkoolPing is provided free to individual parents, teachers and students. Schools subscribe on a per-student basis under a separate agreement. If you use the Service to pay school fees, the payment itself is processed by a licensed payment gateway; SkoolPing does not store card or bank credentials.

7. Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance is announced in advance where possible.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and request account deletion via skoolping.com/data-deletion. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms, or if your school's subscription ends.

9. Disclaimer & limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, SkoolPing is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at New Delhi, India.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified in-app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
